Petite in size but full of personality, we particularly love how beautifully the natural cane pairs with our upholstered headboards. The contrast between woven textures, soft fabrics and beautiful patterns creates a bedroom that feels layered and thoughtfully put together. These tables have a lovely rustic feel, in the very best way. They bring a little of that relaxed charm of a country farmhouse interior, adding warmth, texture and character to any room. I think we're in love.

Handmade in Malawi

At Maison, we love furniture with a story behind it. These tables are 100% handmade in Malawi using traditional weaving techniques. We work directly with Thomas, the Malawian craftsman who travels between Malawi and South Africa each month. By working directly with the makers, we're proud to support traditional craftsmanship, skilled artisans and the livelihoods of the people behind each piece.

As every piece is individually crafted, slight variations in dimensions, shape and weave are to be expected. These natural differences are part of what makes each table unique.
