Meet The Wavy Headboard
Our take on the classic upholstered headboard, with a little more personality. Inspired by one of our favourite things about living in Cape Town: the Ocean! 🌊
We wanted to bring a little bit of that movement into the bedroom, with a soft, flowing shape that reminds us of waves rolling in along the coast.
Its soft, flowing shape creates a gentle scalloped edge that gives the headboard its name and brings a playful yet timeless feel to the bedroom.
Each Wavy Headboard is made locally in Cape Town, South Africa, by our small team of craftsmen and women. It can be made for a Queen or King-size bed and upholstered in the fabric of your choice.

🧵 Production timeline
Each headboard is made to order, so production can take up to 3 weeks (although it is usually closer to 2 weeks, we simply prefer to allow a little extra time to avoid any disappointment 😉).
You will receive two emails from us:
• one to confirm your order
• one to let you know when your headboard is ready
📦 Collection & Delivery
Collection from our Tamboerskloof studio in Cape Town is free. If you choose this option, we’ll send you the exact address by email once your order is ready.
We can also arrange door-to-door delivery to major cities across South Africa for R750. For King-size headboards, due to their larger size and weight, the delivery fee is R1000.
