Meet the Classic Headboard
The Classic is exactly what its name suggests: a timeless upholstered headboard designed to sit beautifully in almost any bedroom.
We wanted to keep the shape simple: a clean rectangle with a soft fabric edge running all the way around it.
And because we believe a headboard should be as comfortable as it is pretty, The Classic has a generous layer of foam underneath the fabric, making it particularly lovely to lean against when reading, having your morning coffee in bed or simply spending a little longer under the covers.
Each Classic Headboard is made locally in Cape Town, South Africa, by our small team of craftsmen and women. It is upholstered and available in a selection of beautiful linen and cotton blend fabric, chosen for its natural texture and timeless feel.

🧵 Production timeline
Once your order is placed, production can take up to 3 weeks (although it is usually closer to 2 weeks, we simply prefer to allow a little extra time to avoid any disappointment 😉).
You will receive two emails from us:
• one to confirm your order
• one to let you know when your headboard is ready
📦 Delivery
Collection from our Tamboerskloof studio in Cape Town is free. If you choose this option, the exact address will be sent to you by email after purchase.
If you live in a more remote area, we will need to arrange a courier quote based on your location, please email us at maison.capetown@gmail.com and we will happily assist.
